The flat, elongated terrain is located between the River Werra and a road, in the wooded and hilly Münden Nature Park. Several coniferous trees grow in the open area. The road and railway are within earshot. The reception is housed in the associated Gasthaus Spiegelburg. The sanitary facilities are next to it, as well as a sitting area. The area is suitable for walking, cycling and canoeing. The Werratal cycle path runs past the campsite. The bus stop is in front of the entrance to the campsite.
